One of the prettiest and long-lived restaurants in Boca Raton, Arturo’s (featuring Northern Italian fare) is owned and run by consummate restaurateurs Vincenzo and Rosaria Gismondi. Their tuxedo-clad staff are attentive and friendly and do their best to inform you about, and not just serve, the excellent food.
Arturo’s has a number of distinctive and attractive features. The antipasti trolley is filled with a mammoth selection of traditional Italian dishes (don’t picture the usual salads – we have enjoyed crab dishes, pastas, stone crabs, grilled eggplant, layered pastries stuffed with veggies and cheeses, smoked salmon, etc). It is marvelous, and, at a very reasonable cost, a terrific way to dine. Due to market fluctuations, some dishes may be priced separately, so be sure to ask if anything on the trolley is not included in the one price given. Entrees are also wonderful. The Dover sole is something to behold, the meats are tender and perfectly prepared in many ways.
